Film synopsis

OURVOICE is an inspiring, heartwarming story of the human spirit, of tradition-meets-invention to solve a problem of generations. A group of small-town volunteers with the classic American values of hard work and determination teams up with an unconventional and innovative crew of media makers and technologists. Together, they build a system to unite a community and end hunger in their town, with plans for scaling across the country upon success. 

In a nation divided by politics, race, and class, amid the chaos of pandemic, this is a story of people coming together to solve one of the most urgent issues of our time. It’s an uplifting narrative of connection over division, compassion over apathy, and faith over despair. Set in an iconic American farming town, OURVOICE is the story of a community solving its own problems outside of failed government safety nets. It’s a character-driven portrait that taps into the essence of the American spirit and offers real hope for a better tomorrow. 

System overview

OURVOICE is a proven concept backed by over a decade of experience, research, testing, and measurable positive results. The system was initially developed for humanitarian relief efforts in combat zones in Iraq, then further developed and tested in the hunger space through an alliance with Feeding America in Ventura, California.
