Founder Mark Manning’s two decades as an offshore deep-sea construction diver and his frontline reporting experiences in Iraq reinforced his belief that truth and opening paths toward solutions are essential when covering critical issues. Over the years ConceptionMedia has produced films covering under-reported social and environmental issues, including American Voices, The Road to Fallujah, The Odyssey Project, and The Cost of Silence, and has led pioneering impact campaigns spanning humanitarian relief, peace initiatives, food insecurity, criminal justice reform, environmental justice, human health, and climate.
Today ConceptionMedia brings together a diverse team of filmmakers, media analysts, and impact strategists who work to transform storytelling into sustained public engagement.
